Racing canceled because of the heat

Maple grove, Etown, and Cecil county all have canceled their friday and Saturday schedules this week because of the heated temperatures.

thx for the update. i just logged in this mornign and saw. i was gonna go and then figured i better check website. this year between rain & heat, weather hasnt been kind to racing in the hhp series........

i actually went to e-town with my older son, who will be 3 next month, on sunday July 24th for the 32nd Annual Nostalgia Summernationals Old Time Drags & 10th Annual Funny Car Reunion. Couldnt stay away. Was bummed about Saturday, so got my fill on Sunday watching the racing & car show. We had a blast. Got there around 10:30 and stayed til about 1:30. It was hot but at times cloudy with some breeze, so it was bearable. i'll post some pics if i can figure out how. had trouble last time. hope Aug 20th HHP Modern Mopar Drags works out. i'd liek to take the car out at least 1 more time in the summer to the strip.
