Earthquake 5.9 Virgina, NY, PA, NC

how about the earthquake this afternoon? i was at work in mt laurel and just got back from lunch, and i was talking to a buddy of mine and all of a sudden everything started to shake and we were stunned. first i thought they started construction on a bldg tht was scheduled but then everything started to shift back & forth and everyone headed outside to find out that a quake hit the D.C. area rated as 5.9 that was felt all the way to NY & down to NC. it seems the whole eastern seaboard got hit.

no damage around our area. hope all u were safe. never felt anything like it. i called the wife & she thought a military plane was flying low (we're near the willow grove air sattion). she was shocked to hear that it was an earthquake. freaked her out. kids slept thru it

I was with Ann in store sitting in a chair and the chair felt like it was being rocked! LOL I was @ the Hiltown Walmart where Fullhouse show was it was so strange to know it was so far away yet felt like I was right in the middle of it.

LOL. I work at PPL and was on the 21st floor when it hit, Building swayed and conf. room table slid across the floor.

Of course, everyone did exactly what you're NOT supposed to do and ran for the exits.
