IAT SENSOR

IAT SENSOR

As I was taking off my old intake when i went to remove the IAT sensor the tip around the metal broke if the plastic tip around the metal thingy broke. Can i still drive the car until I get a new one?

Chuck, I think no one here knows anything about what is going on with that sensor to help you. Did you get the new sensor? What was the end result?

i broke mine too.....that was over 2 years ago. it should be okay.........as long the tip of the sensor is okay (not damaged) u should be fine.

I think the plastic is just a guard to protect the metal thingy..

I got another one from the dealer for $32.00 its was cheapest place around
