Killer glass radiator hose

Post by saus24 on Mon Apr 15, 2013 10:07 pm

I recently order a killer glass radiator hose with red LED light. Well it's been two weeks and I haven't received it yet. Sent them an email today and they said they over looked it. Mad Awesome (me being sarcastic) Hopefully they get it mail to me this week so I can install it. I will post pics when it's installed.

Good luck with the install and hope you heal quickly.

Hey lowtech welcome to the forum and the PAMMG. Good luck with the install. How long have you had your Magnum? Magnums are my second favorite Modern Mopar. I don't think I need to tell you what my favorite Modern Mopar is.
I'm sure the other members would like to say hello. If you get a moment post a little bit about yourself and your Magnum in the New Member Introduction section of the forum.
The forum activity is a little slow right now, I still need to get some more members out of hibernation. Sleep I'll be sending out a wake up call email to everyone, hopefully that will help pick things up a little.

Welcome from the burbs. I was reading the directions and I'm going to buy new radiator hose, just in case I want to go back to stock. New hose cost $30

Mike, I'm going to try to install mine soon as well. I've had it sitting in the garage for months. I too will buy an additional hose. When you're ready maybe we can do it together.

Do I see the making of another Mod Party? Does anyone else have some mod parts they haven't installed yet? If we can get enough members needing install help we can start to plan a mod party.

I'm thinking about getting these door projectors. Not sure if I should do all four doors or just two.

My friend bought the Oracle brand and i bought the one of ebay, shocking enough the ones off ebay are identical right down to the box they come in and you will save boat loads, also do a search for door projectors

I decide to install my killglass radiator hose. This is the before picture. You can barely see the top of the radiator hose in this picture.

This is the picture without the radiator hose. Getting the hose off the radiator was a bitch, but getting it off the engine was simple. If anyone dose this I recommend doing the engine first. Put a gallon ziplock underneath to catch the radiator fluid. MAKE SURE IT IS CLOSE BY. You will still get radiator fluid on your engine no matter what you do. You can see a Gatorade bottle it the picture I will explain why in the next picture.

For the radiator I cut the lid off a 32 oz Gatorade bottle to catch the radiator fluid that was coming out of the radiator. MAKE SURE IT IS CLOSE BY!!! Fluid comes out very fast. The Gatorade bottle fit perfect to collect the excess fluid. I just dumped the excess in the gallon ziplock bag. You will get some on your engine and on the floor like I did.

Here are the parts. I was not able to put it on tonight because I had to go to therapy. Mad Hopefully I can do it tomorrow. I will post pictures. Here is a question, Which one do you think is the new radiator hose? scratch Here is a clue, it's not the one on the left. I have to clean the new hose before I put it on.

This is all the radiator fluid I was able to collect. I put the radiator fluid in the Gatorade bottle into the ziplock bag.

This the picture without the light on.

Picture with the light on. Of course I will run the wires so you don't see them. I can't decide which one. I Highly recommend if you are going to do this Mod to hold on to the bolts, if not you will be looking for them in the underneath shield. "I did that" I'm going to put in yellow anti-freeze to match my car.
