2013 M & G Kick-Off Meeting

[Series 5]

Continuing the conversation we started in other post, we were establishing a meeting day. Sarge only has Saturdays available so we need to pick an up coming Saturday. I'm good next weekend or the following Saturday. Where do we want to meet?

If anyone is free this Sunday, April 7, there is a car show at the UNOs in Franklin Mills in Philly hosted by the Keystone Challengers club. It's a free show from 10-2 with many trophies. Could be a good way to boost our numbers on here too. The guy running the show is a friend of mine as well. I'd like to show him and UNOs some support.

Well, we could kill two birds with one stone here. Why don't we meet on Sunday at the show? We can discuss group activates, promote the club and have a few slices of UNO pie!!

If anyone doesn't have the time or wishes not to enter the show that's OK, I won't be bringing the Hurst out for this M & G. We can just meet for a couple of hours at the show and then split after that.

Besides Sgt, series 5 and myself who else is going to Uno's on Sunday its only four hours.

Had a good time today with Bill and Tim at UNO's. Thanks for the info on the SRT track experience. My car was not register, and now i'm waiting for a call or an email from the SRT track expereince people. Hopefully more people will show up in the future at other M & G.

Sorry guys was a busy weekend for me ,had a baby christening ,had to be there anyway hopefully I'll get to the next one.

No problem at all. This was really the first non-formal get together. This is a no pressure group, you make it out to what you can. Our group is so far spread out it is really hard to have everyone travel so far. As we go through the year we will try to have M & Gs in different areas to give all a chance to make one or two a year without putting a hundred miles in to get there.

I walk away from my car for 5 min. and when I come back there's this really nice looking black Challenger with red stripes and other red accents and trim parked right next to me. I said to myself "man that combo looks just right" You just don't see a lot of black Challengers with red, they are usually trimmed out in white or sometimes you see blue or gray.
It was nice to meet you also, I had a good time and hope to catch up with you at the next get together. Welcome to the group, glad to have you as a member.

It was really good to see a bunch of cool looking Challengers together at UNO. Thanks should go out to UNO Pizza restraint and Keystone Challengers for hosting the cruise. Keystone Challengers Club brought out some nice looking iron, lots of mods on these cars.

Great to meet you Mike and your really really nice SRT Superbee. That's really cool about the track experience, hope all goes through and in the near future you will be hammering all those SRT machines!!

Bill I have a question. My buddy had a SRT Magnum, but he sold it to his step father. If the SRT Magnum was not registred by anyone, would my buddy be able to do the SRT track experience, even though he dosen't own the car anymore. Thanks mike

I did it last year at E-Town if they have it at long pound do it there bigger and a better track. Good luck

If no one registered the car since it left your friends hands I would think SRT would honor it and let your buddy come for the driving experience. Let me know is this pans out.
