R1 Concepts
I contacted this company in search of performance rotors and brake pads. They offered me a decent price of $435 for a set of drilled & slotted rotors and posi-quiet low dust/low noise ceramic pads. Is this a decent price?
And if so, who's helping me put them on?

Sounds like a great price. When I had my CSRT8, I think I paid around $500 for rotors and pads. I'd be glad to lend a hand if you need it.

Thanks! I may need the help. I'm still broken
I want to paint them a little, not identical to Chuck's though.

Re: R1 Concepts
Yeah, I need to get some caliper paint ordered so I can black out the calipers and rotor hats.

Re: R1 Concepts
You may want to look at Caliper Covers instead of paint. This is what I am using now:

Pretty cool idea, just a little pricey to me. But I guess it's worth it if you don't have the time to prep and paint your calipers. I'd still want to paint the rotor hats to match as well, so I may as well do it all.

Re: R1 Concepts
I like the cover idea. Don't have to keep up with painting the calipers every year. Now I'm unsure what colors to go with. I am eventually buying black and red or black and chrome wheels. Should I go with black or red paint for the rotors and caliper covers?
Re: R1 Concepts
Tough choice. Red is pretty popular but it depends on your overall theme. I plan on a very blacked out and stealth appearance, so I'm going black all the way. Do you have, or plan to have, any red accents anywhere else on the car?

Re: R1 Concepts
The only red so far is in the interior. I may go with red stripes on the side of the car.
Re: R1 Concepts
Then I would say red calipers are the way to go. I would paint the rotor hats black

Re: R1 Concepts
So I've had the drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads for over two years now and it's still not time to change them! Love R1 Concepts!
Re: R1 Concepts
I have heard nothing negative about R1 Concepts, When i am in need of new brakes they will be my choice.
