1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport

So I picked up this Jeep as my new daily driver. Which means the Charger will remain covered while I play Marine all week long.

No pics yet but I will post later. It has SEVERAL cosmetic issues. It is gold with gold wheels. Some wheels are damaged. Passenger side fender and grill don't match because they were replaced. The driver side quarter panel and driver side rear door are dented and there are a few other dents around the rest of the vehicle. But hey, it drives and the radio works! Only paid $500 for it so I can't complain too much. Anyone know a decent junk yard or website where I can get replacement parts for it?

Sounds like a winner to me. Any vehicle that will keep you out of the main ride is a good vehicle. Now you need to turn it into an off-road machine!!

Unfortunately it's not 4x4 but I can still have some fun with it. I was shocked to see that it actually has some balls to it. I'd like to try and restore it as long as it doesn't take away from my plans for the Charger. Needs a paint job after I replace a few panels.

F that! I'd run it as is save the cash for charger mods the thing needs to look like sh%t so you can park it any where and forget it ." Door ding who cares" .. " bumper cars great!" Just keep gas and oil in it and enjoy keeping miles and wear and tear off the Batmoble. my .02

sweet. got me thinking about picking up a daily driver... Maybe an old toyota pickup with a 22r engine that will run forever!

My vote is to not worry about the cosmetics of the jeep and spend the money on the charger.

All need for a cheap paint job get a couple of primer spray paint and go to town.

So my check engine light won't go off! I guess I'll take it to get read. The Jeep drives decently with a little squealing when I start it but then it goes away. Hope it's nothing big!

What else I want to do, eventually... (Charger comes first)
- Need a new rear driver side door
- New driver side quarter panel
- Paint job
- New headliner
- 4 tires/wheels

All cosmetic stuff. May be able to pick up at a junk yard somewhere? The body moldings can are coming off a bit too. Super glue or duct tape?
