Rushing equals stupid mistakes....
So I was in a rush to make an 'appearance' at my wife's baby shower yesterday and ended up clipping my right front fender/bumper on the way out of my garage! There's a sweet dent/scrape in the fender where it meets the bumper and the bumper pulled away from its mounts to the fender. It's not horrible, but definitely sucks. The bumper is only out of place by maybe a 1/4" and I shouldn't have any major issues securing it back to the fender. But the dent and scrape will be harder to get rid of. I'll post up a picture after lunch when I can get a chance to snap a pic of it.
I'm just pissed at myself for rushing, but what can you do?

Re: Rushing equals stupid mistakes....
it sucks. I was rushing out a school last year and ran up the side of a dirt wall and scraped underneath my old car. It was actually kinda the other guys fault because he ran me off the road.
Another instance was when i was rushing to leave my house and backed out of the garage and backed into my dads truck. This was with my old car. No damage to mine though

Hate when that happens! I hope you can get it fixed without costing a bunch of dough. You have a little time before show season starts to get her looking good again.

I don't think my car is show worthy since I don't have the patience to clean and wax all the time! I'll do my best to get it looking good, but don't plan on spending any $$ on it. I've got a pic on my phone, so I'll try to load it up today.

That's usually how is goes. Every time I'm rushing to get something done it either gets scratched or a break something. The worst is when your painting something and your short on time, it never seems to dry fast enough and if you try and rush you will screw it up . Happens everytime.

I was rushing to get back to work from a lunch break and I hit a curb when turning. Nice little scratch on my passenger door. Nothing too big but it is noticeable to be at least.

Back in FEB. I had a shopping cart hit my right fender it's $1200 to get fixed ouch, but only $50 out of pocket.

A little off topic, but I parked my car far away from everyone else in the parking lot at work this morning. Everyone knows how anal I am about my car and usually stay away from it. Well, this morning, some reservist was using my car as a leaning post while stretching for PT!!!! WTF!!!!!! Needless to say, he'll never do it again. And now I have to find a new parking spot since that's the new meeting spot for PT.

Forgot to tighten them? You first have to install the bolts before you can tightening them.

I'm just glad everything worked out and you got the new discs installed. Since you installed them have you noticed any better stopping ability?

I have to get them at the dealership I haven't driven the car since the new discs were put on although I did try them out on the way home and there is a big difference with stopping .

Now that could have turned out very costly! Thankfully you noticed soon enough.
