OEM SRT8 Charger hood for sale
hello all, I have an OEM srt8 Charger hood for sale. It is brilliant black pearl, comes with the duct work. It does have a few road chips, but it's in excellent condition. I am located outside Phila, I will not ship this. Pick up only, or I may possibly be able to meet. I'm asking $1200.
***Price drop.... $900. obo***

I'm glad you found the site. Please introduce yourself as well.
About the hood, like I said that's way too much for a used OEM hood. Here's a new SRT hood in fiberglass or carbon fiber asking for $899:

You list the hood for maybe $600 you'll sell it in a heartbeat.

OEM hood is more valuable than an aftermarket IMO. They're like $1400 from the dealer and that doesn't come painted.
I don't think its a bad starting price, but I'm not going to tell you what to list it for. It's up to you and what you feel comfortable with.
I agree with introducing yourself in the new member area. 1st post sale threads will definitely scare people off.
GLWS and glad you found the site!

I've seen 2 OEM hoods sell in the last 60 days for less than $900. I'm debating on that or the Chally style hood.

Nice... I'm not a fan of the chally hood on other LX models, but that's just me. Although a charger srt8 hood on a charger isn't as unique either... I'm probably not making the decision easier for you

There's another hood that has the SRT style to it but it also has side vents on it like the Viper. Not sure how I feel about that though...
Appearance wise, the hood and '68 style grille are all I need to complete the exterior, until I get bored again.

Re: OEM SRT8 Charger hood for sale
the hood she is selling will fit right the hoods on that site esspecially carbon fiber fiberglass r hard to line up also the air induction goes right over the manifold which sucks. plus you need to have hood pins installed . with the shipping plus buying good hood pins and having them installed it would be better just to by the used oem hood.sgt tunez wrote:I'm glad you found the site. If I had the money I'd buy this hood. It's the same color as my car!

The $1200 is the asking price. If you want to spend $899 on a glass or carbon hood, expect to spend an additional $200-$300 to get it to fit ok, then you still have to pay to get it painted! They just dont fit as good as an OE hood. For $600 I'll leave it hang on the wall.

Re: OEM SRT8 Charger hood for sale
You can certainly ask whatever you like. And you're right, an AM hood costs more to fit and paint. I'm just saying, I've seen these hoods sell instantly when priced anywhere from 6-900. Selling it for 1200 may take a while but I'll ask around for you.
Re: OEM SRT8 Charger hood for sale
This should sell soon! Still a little steep for me right now otherwise I'd grab it.
