Englishtown Mopar Show

I found out there's a Mopar event all weekend at Englishtown. Anyone going?

i should be there tomorrow morning for the HHP Modern Mopar Muscle points race...

Whole event starts tonite with Mopars v World drag racing and then car shows and drag races all day tomorr & sunday

How was the show. Who won the charger, challenger, and Magnum classes for the show?

Claude took home 1st for Magnum, I took home 2nd for Charger. Got beat by a clean red Charger R/T with a supercharger and interior dash lit.

There were only 4 modern Chargers total in the show. 1 in stock which was a Mopar '11 edition. He raced and showed, ran a 14.03.

Really bad turnout. The show has really gotten to be worse each year. A 14.03 for an 11 charger is horrible. I was running 13.7 stock with my 06. At least the weather was good

The weather was great but the turnout was horrible. Met some cool people though. I haven't had mine on the track yet. I'm waiting until it gets cooler.

Saturday we had a good turnout for the Modern Mopar Drags....about 40 or 50 modern hemis (mostly chargers & challys & couple of the regular magnums & 300s, & about 4-5 ram trucks)...probably biggest turnout in last couple years.....but the car show was less of a turnout

With the size of some of the local Mopar clubs in NJ and NY, you would think the show would be better.

I have been going to that show for the last 6 years. Each year the show cars are less and less. Too bad. It was nice to show and watch some races while hanging out.

Best part was watching the races. The guy I lost to never stopped detailing his car. I just went to hang out and see what it was all about. I'm looking forward to Carlisle next year. Haven't been there yet.
