Changes to the site.
A couple of things I just changed are the drop downs and text boxes are now a medium gray so you can see your text. I also changed the Quote box text color to make it easier to see. On your home page you'll notice at the bottom of the page I added a chat box, which actually works. When you log in check to see if anyone is chatting and join the conversation.

Good stuff. I'll try to look over all the settings after lunch to see if there is anything else that jumps out and may need to be changed. I'll catch up with you guys in a little bit.

Re: Changes to the site.
Mike, do you or Tim (or anyone else who's interested) want to see about coming up with a new logo design for the top of the website? As Bill mentioned, I think it would be good to stay close to the original design on pamopargroup.com without copying anything. I've currently got the test forum in a black/orange theme and figured any design similar to the original one will work well. I'll try to come up with some designs too, but am pretty busy with work and trying to learn the in's and out's of how the vBulletin suite runs.

It would be nice to put the logo that we created for our tshirts as our "official" logo for the group. May need a little tweeking. I'll see what I can do. If anyone else wants to tweek it themselves, we can take a vote later on.

Do you have a copy of that tshirt logo? I haven't seen it.

Sounds good. The marketing/web design guy at my office is a friend of mine and I can see if he can come up with something too. Post of the images when you get a chance.

I just threw something Mopar up there for now. Once I get Trey to adjust the logo we'll have a high resolution pic. to put up there.

Re: Changes to the site.
I figured out how to use the Calendar. I first had to tie the calendar to one of the forum topics, in this case the Penna. events section. After I did that there was an icon on each day of the month. This is where you click to create an event. The cool thing is after you create the event in the calendar it automatically makes a thread to the event in the Penna. events section in the forum. If you click on the event in the calendar it takes you to the thread for the event.
For the first club event I entered the Northeast Rod and Custom Car Show Nationals into the Calendar for Sun March 27th. This will most likely be the day we go but if we choose a different day I can move the event in the calendar. Please post in the new thread for this show discussion.
If anyone wants me to enter an event please PM me and I will enter it into the calendar, which will also start the thread for the event, no need to enter a separate thread, nice!

Re: Changes to the site.
This show is invitation only. You do have to have your car there all three days. Paul's Charger is going to be in the show so we should try to come up with a way to get a little club advertising in there.
So we are planning to go and look at the cars and meet up with some of our existing members and hopefully some new members too.
Click on the link in the event thread, it will take you to the show website, which has a lot of detail.
