The NMCA is pleased to announce that Nitto Tire and DiabloSport will both sponsor two of the main classes at the 3rd Annual shopHEMI.com Late-Model HEMI Shootout, which takes place at the NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals event at Maryland Int'l Raceway in Mechanicsville, MD, the weekend of June 3-5, 2011. The Late-Model HEMI Shootout is the largest gathering of modern HEMI-powered racers and show cars in the U.S. This special event features heads-up, index, and true street drag racing, a huge car show, a giant manufacturers' midway, and much more!

DiabloSport will once again sponsor the HEMI Rumble (index) class, where upwards of 50 modern Chrysler vehicles will compete for cash and prizes. The HEMI Rumble class is the largest at the Shootout and is open to all 5.7 and 6.1 liter HEMI-powered Chrysler vehicles. All HEMI Rumble class competitors will recieve a free entry into Saturday's TREMEC True Street class, presented by Mopar Muscle magazine (must fit True Street class rules).

Nitto Tire will sponsor this year's World's Fastest HEMI Challenge, a specialty class that rewards the fastest late-model HEMI-powered competitors – Challenger, Charger, Magnum, 300, and Truck/SUV. There will also be a Nitto Tire sponsored match race between the two overall fastest HEMIs at the end of the event.
