Ok guys, I went over to Robs today. He wasn't there but one of his workers was. No one will be there the day of the show as of right now. And they have more cars for sale in their lot. So... we need to get together and decide how we want the layout to go. There's more room than I initially realized but organization is key. I have a few ideas but we have to discuss it in person. So, who's free this weekend?

Also, we need to raise money for porta johns and insurance. I'm waiting on a quote from the insurance guy and should have it soon. I'm thinking we need between 5 and $600. We also need to stuff goody bags.


Still working o n tshirts/banners. Once I know something I'll let you know. Tshirts I doubt I can get paid for though. Crying or Very sad

Today I went to Bishop Fence to approve a jog that they are doing for me. I gave them one of the flyer's for the show and ask if they sponsor any car shows. The salesmen is going to give it to his boss to see if can give any help.

That's great moddog. Ok, insurance is going to cost us roughly $400 for the event. Anyone know a company willing to donate or help sponsor? The museum looks like it will be open so we can use their rest rooms. Locked on a photographer and a ton of vendors this week.

What[s left is to go to the site so we can discuss a layout and get together to fill goodie bags. Who has the pens, etc. that we got from full house?

Tshirts... I need sizes if someone can start a list. I can't get them paid for so we may need to pay about $10 each. How do we want the shirts to look? Logo on back, what on front?

I'm here! Ok so Friday or Saturday I'm thinking we can get together to discuss a few things. Still need about $300 for insurance. I'm prepared to pay out of pocket, but I'd rather not.

Tshirts and banners aren't looking good on my end. My contact fell through on the banner unfortunately.

Various things we may need: cones, caution tape, markers, trash bags/cans, tables, tents. Also, I will be there around 630 am to start setting up. I want out club cars parked by 730 so that we can get organized and I can discuss each volunteer's responsibility for the show. More info on that to come shortly. Hope y'll don't mind taking orders from a young buck! Don't wqrry, I wontt be working you to death.

sorry guys i havent been online for a while. also have a lot going on and sadly to say i dinged the charger. it may be in the shop next week, so it probably wont be ready for the show on sunday.

unfortunatley, im not going to be able to help out too much fri or sat. im still planning on coming sunday to support and help out.

Running out of time guys. We're pretty much set up for everything except for the insurance money. Danielle and I will be meeting this week to go over the site layout. If any of you would like to meet up, we can work out a time and date. I may have shirts for us but they will read "EVENT STAFF" on the back with no logo. We can work on club tshirts at a later date. My banner guy fell through.

I'm going to have my Marines fill goodie bags over the weekend so I need to get up with who ever has the pens and what not before Friday.

Mike, I'm meeting up with Bill at the site sometime on Friday. I can meet up with you anytime this week.

Some things I need:

Money for the insurance policy (about 345 total)
Cones and caution tape
Signs to put up outside the show
Markers and pens
Chairs
Tents
Tables
Trash bags
Two way radios
Vendors/sponors (if anyone knows a company)

That's just a few things. Other than that, we're pretty much ready for the event of the season! Well, at least of the fall.

I can bring that tent I had at the last car show. I may have some chairs I can bring, all depends on what kind you need. Also, for the signs, what do they need to say and how big should they be. I'll see what I can do about those
